In 2009 Eliot started his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Oxford Brookes University. In 2012, Eliot graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy.
On completion of his degree, Eliot went on to study a Postgraduate Course in Sports Massage Therapy to further develop his interest in therapy for sports people. At the end of the course he went on to achieve a Distinction in his ITEC Level 3 Diploma, narrowly missing out on achieving full marks.
During his degree, Eliot spent much of his time working in the NHS in a huge variety of clinical specialities. Work on Trauma & Orthopeadics, Neuroglogy and Physiotherapy Outpatients has helped Eliot develop fantastic skills and knowledge in order to treat many different conditions. During his time at Oxford Brookes, Eliot was able to undertake a specialist placement in Pain Management, looking after patients with very complex, chronic pain conditions. Time spend in this speciality has given Eliot a range of skills that enable him to effectively manage patients with very long standing, chronic conditions.
Even from a young age Eliot has been a keen sportsman. He represented Cornwall in both rugby and athletics and has played hockey for Oxford Brookes as well as several clubs. On returning to Cornwall after studying, Eliot continued to play hockey for Truro Hockey Club and has kept up a high level of interest in all sports.
This first hand experience and knowlegdge of high level sport means Eliot has a greater understanding of the nature and compexities of sporting injuries and therefore has a huge range of knowledge and experience to help in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of sporting injuries.
